Founded in 2011, Raha Premium began with a single vision: to deliver high-quality maize flour that Kenyan families could trust every day. Our first product, Raha Premium Kavagara Maize Meal, quickly became a staple in homes across the country, recognized for its consistency, fine texture, and unmatched taste.

From the very start, our goal has been to blend tradition with innovation bringing you flour that not only tastes great but also meets the highest standards of quality and nutrition.

Expanding Our Family of Brands

In early 2022, we proudly introduced Raha Premium Home Baking Flour, a product crafted for the modern kitchen ideal for soft chapatis, golden mandazis, and delicious pastries that bring families together.

Later that same year, we launched Joymax – Mwivoko Maize Flour to cushion Kenyans from the high cost of living. This launch reflects our belief that every family deserves access to nutritious, fortified, and affordable flour without compromising on quality.

Commitment to Innovation and Quality

In 2024, we took a bold step forward by commissioning a state-of-the-art maize milling plant, significantly expanding our production capacity and ensuring top-tier quality with every batch.

Our dedication to excellence was soon recognized, and we received the Diamond Mark of Quality Certificate from KEBS, a prestigious acknowledgment of our consistent high-standard production.

Later that year, in August 2024, Raha Premium earned another major milestone the Superbrands East Africa Choice Award, celebrating our growing trust among consumers and industry peers alike.
